PVSA FOOTBALL COACHES

Coach Pat Fresch: Offensive Specialist QB's and RB's. Local college and high school coach that has been coaching in the area for 15 years. He has coached over 25 high school football players that went on to play college football. Two-time Lions All-Star Coach. Has coached local first team All-League QB four years running. Instrumental in development of '07 Bay League M.V.P. Reigning League champion head football coach. Fresch played high school football at Palos Verdes where he earned all-league and all-state honors. Coach Fresch earned a scholarship in football and played for Arizona State University. While a player at ASU he played under Larry Marmie and Mike Martz.

Coach Chris Miller: Outside Linebackers, Tight Ends & Long Snap. Recently he has coached two all-league tight-ends. Learn how to "flick the switch" and move from blocker to receiver as a tight-end. Learn to rush the passer and still keep contain as a defensive-end or outside linebacker. Coach Miller played college football at Menlo College where he played defensive line. He has been a local high school football coach since 2000.

Coach Mike Alexander: Offensive & Defensive Line. Mike has coached offensive line at Harbor College and has been the head football coach at Banning High School. Mike played offensive line at San Diego State where he blocked for Marshall Faulk.

Coach Dave Young: Receivers and defensive back specialist. Currently coaches as a local high school defensive coordinator. Recently was the defensive coach for Southern California all-Star game. Learn defensive closing techniques that will make you be successful in your football career. Coach Young played football locally at Mary Star of the Sea High School. He then went on to play at Washington State University.

Coach Bret Peabody: Quarterbacks - Offensive Specialist. Currently coaches as a local college offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Teaches the "fundamental first" approach to the QB position. Has worked with numerous division one college quarterbacks and knows the drills and requirements that will get players noticed.
